These are some Bruschetta recipes using

our Honey.  We have taken great care to

pair our honey with the different cheeses

fruit, nuts and meat. Our Friends and

Family enjoy them.  They are easy to

make and are delicious.  We hope you enjoy them too!

 

Bruschetta with Gorgonzola Cheese and Honey top right.

Ingredients:

50 ml. Olive Oil

100gr. Gorgonzola Cheese

50ml. Hilo Lehua Honey

Pepper to taste

Directions:

Cut a baguette into small rounds and brush with olive oil.  Toast until lightly brown and crunchy.  Next, put a small spoonful of Gorgonzola cheese onto each toasted round. Bake for 3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with pepper.  Place on a platter and drizzle generously with Hilo Lehua Honey. Serve immediately. Makes about 10 servings.

 

Bruschetta with Ricotta Cheese, Peach, Prosciutto and  Honey bottom right.

Ingredients:

50 ml. Olive Oil     DSC_0274

100gr. Ricotta Cheese

50ml. Kauai Kukui Honey

1 Peach

2 slices Prosciutto

Directions:

Cut a baguette into small rounds and brush with olive oil.  Toast until lightly brown and crunchy.  Next, lightly saute thin slices of peach in a little olive oil.  Put a small spoonful of Ricotta cheese onto each toasted round. Arrange on a platter.  Next place the thin slices of sautéed peach on the Ricotta.  Top with slivers of Prosciutto and  drizzle with Kauai Kukui Honey. Serve immediately.  Makes about 10 servings.

 

Bruschetta with Gorgonzola Cheese, pear and Honey top left.

Ingredients:

50 ml. Olive Oil          DSC_0273

100gr. Gorgonzola Cheese

50ml. Hilo Lehua Honey

1 Pear

Chives to taste

Pepper to taste

Direction:

Cut a baguette into small rounds and brush with olive oil.  Toast until lightly brown and crunchy.  Next, lightly saute thin slices of pear in a little olive oil. Pepper lightly. Place one slice of peppered pear onto each toasted round. Spoon Gorgonzola onto sautéed pear carefully. Drizzle with Hilo Lehua Honey and garnish with chopped or snipped Chives.  Makes about 10 servings.

 

Bruschetta with Camembert Cheese, Walnuts, Cranberries and Honey bottom left.

Ingredients:       DSC_0296

50 ml. Olive Oil

100gr. Camembert Cheese

40ml. Kauai Kukui Honey

75gr Walnuts

50 gr. Dried Cranberries

Directions: Cut a baguette into small rounds and brush with olive oil.  Toast until lightly brown and crunchy.  Then, in a small bowl, mix the walnuts, cranberries and Kauai Kukui honey together, put aside for the moment. Next, put a small wedges of Camembert cheese onto each toasted round. Bake for 2 minutes or until cheese is somewhat melted. Top with Cranberry, walnut and honey mixture. It should be sticky but not runny. Makes about 10 servings.
